There was A Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow is a Winter version of the traditional rhyme “There was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly” and is also part the Lucille Colandro’s There was An Old Lady… collection. In this story, the little old lady has an appetite for some snow, a pipe, coal, a black hat, tree branches, and so forth. At the end, she hiccups up a snowman.
