Another Real Life Moment

I love sharing some motherhood moments from my life because it gives my readers a glimpse into my life and helps them connect with me on a personal level. With that said, here is another momentous experience I had the other day. Enjoy.
  1. Smelled a messy diaper on my daughter.
  2. Went to change her and noticed the poop had somehow managed to squish it's way all the way up her back. AND she just happened to be wearing a white onesie. Awesome.
  3. Peeled the onesie off her, but of course it got everywhere - her legs, arms, hair, me, the carpet - Aaaargh.
  4. Wiped her down as best as I could, and then off to the bathtub we went.
  5. Had my daughter stand outside the tub while I made sure the temperature was okay.
  6. Pick her up to plop her in the tub.
  7. Noticed a large puddle on the floor. Fabulous - she peed all over the bathroom floor and got the bath rug, too.
  8. Realized I didn't have a washcloth.
  9. Ran to get a washcloth. (Don't worry, I was seriously gone 10 seconds at most.)
  10. Ran back to the bathroom.
  11. Found my daughter standing in the tub with the shower running. Water was spraying all over the bathroom but she was having the time of her life.
  12. I could either laugh or cry - I laughed.
  13. Scrubbed every inch of my daughter.
  14. Scrubbed every inch of her, again.
  15. Dried and dressed my daughter.
  16. Cleaned up the puddle on the bathroom floor.
  17. Threw the rug in the wash.
  18. Dried up the rest of the bathroom.
  19. Soaked & scrubbed & scrubbed & scrubbed my daughter's onesie.
  20. Scrubbed & scrubbed & scrubbed the carpet.
  21. Laughed again.
  22. Aww. Glad that's all over with.
